2008 The largest order in MAHA’s history has successfully been completed: The last truck headed out for Turkey on October 24, 2008. It was filled with equipment which was needed to outfit the final test station. A total of 80 truckloads have set out for Turkey since the start of the operative phase of the this major project in the fall of 2007. MAHA Major Project in Cooperation with TÜVTURK was successfully completed in October 2008 Within one year– distributed across the whole country – 189 TÜV stations and 81 mobile units were set up. MAHA supplied 205 test lanes for car testing and 222 test lanes for trucks. 189 test stations covering the entire country were up and functioning in just 12 months. MAHA’s participation included delivery of all the equipment, installation thereof and providing training sessions for the Turkish skilled workers. MAHAAIP Production and Assembly Moves into New Building Ahead of Time Two reasons for the early move into the new MAHAAIP building, which was not quite com- pleted at the end of October 2008, were the cramped conditions and an important order for two end-of-line dyno’s for commercial vehicles. And at the same time in the last quarter of 2008 several, large complex dynamomters were erected in Haldenwang for customer approval. These in- cluded two 8x8 end-of-line dyno’s for commercial vehicles ordered by Daimler AG (each one with ca. 15 m length and a weight of ca. 100 t).
