1990 On May 18, 1990, the same day that Winfried and Emma Rauch celebrated their 27th wedding anni- versary, employees and invited guests joined them in dedicating the new company headquarters which also marked the company’s 20th anni- versary. Always looking forward and with a steady goal in mind, those responsible needed only 12 months from the planning phase to completion of the new headquarters. Together the old (MAHA I) and new production facilities (MAHA II at Hoyen 20) provided a total production capacity of 17,000 m². The farsighted investments (ca. 20 million DM) made it possible for MAHA to stand up to local and international competitors. The engineering design department introduced state-of-the-art CAD systems, coating and assembly systems are run in a two-shift ope- ration. Even at that time 14 robots were in use (10 CNC and 4 welding robots), with a program- mer controlling all CNC robots. All design drawings were electronically created using CAD. 1990 – Open House Official Dedication of MAHA II and 20- year Company Anniversary Excerpt from a company tour brochure Number of employees: 280 4 engineers, 21 field service technicians , 4 trai- ners.
